you know you’ve had a good day when you and your best friend have to run away from a pack of half-naked, beautiful boys
i made a secret blog and it feels so right
I’m getting really tired of seeing all this thin shaming going around. Just really, really sick of it. How come people think it’s okay to criticize a woman for being thin but if you criticize a woman for being overweight or fat you will most likely get lynched? Somehow it is socially acceptable to go up to a thin girl and make comments on her weight, such as telling her to eat a cheeseburger and saying how skinny she is; yet you would never go up to a bigger girl and tell her to eat spinach and tell her that she is fat. How come our society tells fat women that their self worth is not determined by their weight but if a woman is deemed too skinny she is not worthy of a man? (ex: “bones are for dogs, meat is for men”). If a girl is thin, negative comments are said about her appearance such as she looks like a 12 year old or she has an eating disorder. Thin shaming is becoming more popular due to the fact that skinny is the current trend within the fashion industry and therefore some people think that entitles them to bash that certain body type. Newsflash, it doesn’t.
It’s bullshit and it needs to stop.
Plenty of girls are naturally thin and/or like to live a healthy lifestyle which causes then to have a thin frame. And they should not have to be ashamed or criticized for either, just as a bigger woman should not be ashamed or criticized for her body and lifestyle. There is no superior/inferior body type and no one deserves to be be judged based upon the skin they have or want to live in. Stop body shaming, it’s petty and disgusting.
It’s almost 5 in the morning and I can’t stop thinking about you. I have no idea why, but it’s to the point where I can’t fall asleep and a million memories and scenarios of what would have been are running through my mind. I miss you.
